( http brings latinx voices to light)

It’s always fantastic to head out to D.C. I’m able to catch up with old friends and my family. It’s also a great time to dive into some policy action and support various social causes. While I was in D.C. I attended the official welcoming of the new Executive Director of the HTTP and my good friend, Alejandro Roark. The HTTP (Hispanic Technology & Telecommunications Partnership) in collaboration with the Congressional Hispanic Staff Association joined forces to affirm the importance of the Latinx perspective in the discussion for federal consumer privacy legislation. They are focused on reaffirming the important role that members of the Latinx community can play in shaping the future of consumer privacy protections. It’s a fantastic organization with wonderful people really trying to make a difference.
