The Public Stock Trading App Comes to Los Angeles

CJ Johnson welcomed the Public app team to Los Angeles for their debut community event. CJ was one of the faces of the Public launch campaign in New York City in 2021. He was joined at the event by Eric Alestan and Willa Tellekson-Flash, the Public Director of Community (who was listed on Forbes 30 Under 30). Public, the “investing social platform” has a community of investors in the millions and has raised over $310 million from investors. Those include Accel and Greycroft, two venture capital funds that previously backed Venmo, as well as pro skater Tony Hawk and Mantis, a fund owned by The Chainsmokers.
